Sunlight streams through the tall pines

Butterflies dance on wildflowers,

Kissing them ever so gently

Before drifting to their next adventure

The sound of a gurgling stream in the distance

I set down a blanket and open a book

Skimming through the pages

Until I doze off into a peaceful slumber
